Friday....TGIF DAY (Thank Goodness I'm finished? day)
=========
Well, just got a blog from bro Jack...seems he is suffering form anther bout of cellulitus! In his hip this time. I had cellulitus in the foot again this Oct. and it was no fun at all so I have an idea where he is coming from. get well quick and get back to teaching soon. I have had cellulitus before and when it was diagnosed by the Doc as such he put me on the last anti-bacterial that did any good the first bout so that was goo...it cleared up right away. Let's hope yours does the same Jack.
Gary is leaving on his Arizona oddessy on Monday. Good luck to him, he sent me his itinerary and contacts for the duration. Sounds good.
Well, several people have phoned from the Museum with good wishes for a speedy recovery....among them, Norm Shaw, and Shirley Renders (the CO). It was nice to hear from them. Of course I will be back as soon as I am able.
Take care and TATA......and PEACE

Off to the opthamologist(?)...don't see that!
Off to the opthamologist(?)...don't see that!

Don't know what it is...But not Life threatening!
- A neurologist and her Resident. Along with a test of reflexes, etc.
- A further CAT scan (the 2nd) to determine the problem.
- A mobility test.
- Results to my Doctor (GP Dr. Hildahl). I go see him again next Thursday. (he did not have the results today)
There is no reason for Gary to NOT go or DELAY his trip south! I can't emphasis this more. I will keep everyone close to me apprised of the situation. FYI Margot and Mother know about this. There is no specific diagnosis yet, so I was waiting to get that before I told Gary and Jack about it so I could speak with more authority. It has been too long and the cat is getting out of the bag. It may be as simple as a virus or as compicated as NPH ( look it up) but NPH has been almost ruled out by now....don't know what it is but my balance is "off" and I have a headache ( like a bad stress headache), also I am using a cane for balance only when I am starting and stopping walking. Catherine and I have cleared our work/volunteer slate for Dec. -She will drive me to all my appointments, etc. I don't know what I would do without her! REMEMBER not to cancel any plans! Especially plans to go down south! I' m going for an Ultra-sound and an MRI to get to the bottom of this. News WILL follow when we know more. All we know now is that it is not life threatening.
TATA, And remember, PEACE.

Discovery of a New Element
A major research institution has recently announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element has been named "Governmentium.
Governmentium has 1 neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312. These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert.However, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact.A minute amount of Governmentium causes one reaction to take over four days to complete, when it would normally take less than a second. Governmentium has a normal half-life of 4 years; it does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.In fact, Governmentium's mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass." When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium --- an element which radiates just as much energy as Governmentium, since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.
