Last week I found the 'cruise control' knobby thingy on the floor of the Taurus. I went to ask about a new thingy at Midtown Ford and they told me $87.00. I said," no no, you misunderstand I don't want to buy a car just a thingy". What a rip off. I figured $25 - $30 bucks but noooooooo. So I went to a wreckers place. With some scavanging I managed to come up with one for .....oh, ZERO dollars. The cruise control was a little damaged taking it out so the counter guy said, "go ahead try and if it works, we'll square up later." NEAT. All I really needed was the plate or face-piece that sits on top. It says Accel. on top and cruise on the bottom. What a deal! I got home and popped the face plate thingy off and put it on the Taurus and there ya go....good as new.

Yeay me...one for me!....peace....oh yeah, our gas has gone down to 87.9 cents a litre. It seems to be falling every 3 or 4 days by a penny or two. Keep falling!
