With an early election coming up sooner than we could wish for, I hope the Canadian voters will remember which party leader wanted to send young Canadians to their death in Iraq, along with the wishes of the current White House to support their illegal invasion of Iraq. That same party leader was all prepared to join Canada in the US "Missile Defense System", the rejuvenated wasteful "Starwars". Can we imagine the cost to the Canadian taxpayers of those ideas - not to mention the potential loss of young Canadian lives in Iraq? Makes the Liberal sponsorship mess look like chickenfeed! Sometimes the grass in NOT greener on the other side. As a Secular Humanist, I can also do without a leader of Canada who ends his speeches with "God bless Canada".
