Kind of biding our time until we can get into our new trailer....
We cut short our weekend in Gimli and came back on Sunday because Nana was dogsitting Suzie. They appear to have gotten along well. Nana was feeling secure having an alert, mean, barking bow-wow to warn her of any dangerous goings on and Suzie was just glad to have someone there to keep giving her cookies.
I pulled a shift at the museum today and we had a group of 60 mostly Americans, come in for a tour. They are in Winnipeg with an Airstream club. This is a group that all have airstream trailers. I wonder if there is a Jayco group, hmm? Anyhow, this Airstream group is having a wonderful time in Winnipeg, taking in all the sites like Fort Whyte Nature Centre and the Air museum, and taking in events like Folklorama, which just started and runs for two weeks. With the Folk Festival and the Fringe Festival both in July Winnipeg is a great place to be. It's too bad some people have to come here with preconceived notions and not open minds like this airstream group.
