Good training, luck (good and bad), a rain slicked runway, a sudden tail wind, hydroplaning, good Canadian common sense (no panicking)......this was the crash of the Air France jet Airbus 340  in Toronto on last Thursday.   Yet the newspapers and the CBC news seem to imply that it was a "miracle".  When these things happen and people are not killed ...its a miracle.  Who caused the damn thing?..is that a miracle too?   Where was the miracle during the tsunami that occurred last December?.....250,000 people died.  Where is the miracle in Darfur?   They must have been all BAAAAD people.  Crap!   Miracle indeed BAH HUMBUG!!

Well, se are still at the lake.  Got a whole lot done today.  Finished cleaning up the old trailer and bringing more stuff over here.  I lifted a storage bin that was behind the old trailer and there were three frogs under it.....why its a miracle I didn't pee my pants!  Got the grass cut and finished cleaning and  replacing the 'over the slider awning' (don't know what you would call it).  The roller was binding on the lip of the slider and me and my neighbour Peter put spacers under the flanges and that brought the roller out further in front of the lip.......see, anyways it is now well away from binding on the lip.   Its a good thing.

Like I said before, got to get back to the city tomorrow. Its been bloody hot here.   My right big toe (I think that is the piggy that had roast beef) is throbbing.  I hope that it is not that cellulitis coming back.  Maybe its just gout....painful but I can deal with that.  I put a cold pack on it and it feels a lot better.  Its too damn hot, here it is 11pm and it is still 25 deg C.   We went for a stroll by the beach today and there were many many people in the water and some hairballs on those 'seados'.

Well better get to bed. later.....peace.
