House grills over BS
You can never get enough of what you don't need to make you happy.
Well, I have finally succumbed.....I have started to wear socks with my sandals. Gary would be proud.....you taught us well ol' Yoda.
Jack bought a house! And it is a great looking house too.... and as luck would have it, a little place out back for a studio! Can't wait to get down there to see it. I am so happy for Jack, he needed a change like this...I am sure that the boys will be happy there too. See his blog for pics at Jackaroo.
Yesterday Margot phoned us at the lake. It was her last day at the Kettle of Fish and her friends on the staff were going to have a little party for her after the shift was over AND today she started her new job at "Rain City Grill"!!! She was looking forward to that. Good on ya girl!!!! We are very proud. See Rain City Grill .
This afternoon, shortly after we got home and unpacked the car, I had to check my e-mail (a priority). I was a bit hungry ....we were active today and I should have eaten more than that cereal I had for brekkie and the hot dog I had for lunch. It all came crashing down on me when my blood sugar plummeted and even though I can remember actually using the word 'plummet' I was in a daze like state. Catherine took me and fed me some 'quick fix' orange juice and something else I can't remember but then I had to rest and woke up two hours later. I don't know if you would call it sleeping as much as your mind going all mushy like and you have no alternative but to close your eyes and let come over you. It is a reminder to me to be more careful as I did take an extra dose of insulin in the morning because my BS (blood sugar, stupid) was high. Its kind of like just running out of gas.......I don't know what I would do without Catherine there to help me. Now I am having some chocolate as a treat.
Anyhow, we will toil around here for a couple of days and then head back to the lake to rough it .....remember only 4 TV channels out there! I took some pics of the trailer, and then of course I forgot my camera out there. Mind like a sleeve, sliver, salvo, sieve.
