Wednesday. I picked up a shift at the museum today. Boy, is it sweltering outside......SULTRY. It is something like 34 deg c and high humidity. I stopped off at Mom's place to see if she wanted to come over to our house for a few days, but she is managing to stay cool at her place with her window air conditioner. She says that it is cool in the cafeteria where they play cards too, as they have many fans in there. Besides she could not come because she had just had the girl in to give her a bath and her hair was a mess. Well, she'll be alright. I was a bit worried though because she had some minor chest pains last night that went away on their own after while. She says she is right as rain now.

On the way home Catherine and I stopped at Dairy Queen and of course I had a score blizzard. Hey, Gary, did you know that they now have a BANANA CREAM BLIZZARD? MMMMMMMMMM.

Too bloody hot to go out to the lake, we will wait a couple of days.
