Islandigadagurin, the media, the Fog of War

Nature always sides with the hidden flaw.

When we spoke to Margot on the phone yesterday not only was she excited about her new job at the Raincity Grill but she said that she was planning to take a course in 'media and communications' in Sept. and was looking forward to it. I am glad that things are going well for her and Joel too. Joel has his own business setting up and maintenance of aquariums for both business and private people. He still pulls a shift or two at Cardero's each week to keep his hand in. Glad they are BOTH doing well. Now if they could just hear from their Vancouver Island cousins..............

I got called into the Air Museum today because no one else showed up, one sick the others off on holidays. Good thing I was available to come in otherwise they would have been high and dry.

Well tomorrow we are heading back to the lake. Mom is coming over to dog sit for Fri. nite, Sat. and Sat. nite as we have a huge garage sale that we are participating in for the whole campsite on Saturday. Besides it's the ISLANDIGADAGURIN Festival this weekend and we would like to check that out and it is impossible to do with a doggie in tow (even a good doggie). It is supposed to be nice weather so we are looking forward to it.

They fogged around here again last night. That West Nile Virus wont be coming around here I tell you. The mozzies have all buggered off. This is the second round of fogging and gee, they were successful the first time, this time they are getting the REAL SLOW ones.

Well, better go, Oprah is on, something about pathalogical liars lacking in self-esteem? and, besides the lasagna is ready mmmmmmmm.

Peace.
