Here we are at the lake.  I'm sipping coffee just after making a trip with the 'Honey pot'.  Catherine is playing Numero and reading, but not at the same time.  The temp is around 23 c and cloudy.  It poured rain last night and at one time the thunder woke me up...it actually shook the trailer and it felt like the damn thing hit somewhere very near.   So, kind of a restless sleep last night.  There seems to be a pattern emerging, we get a hot spell and that sucks up the moisture and then it rains.....then there is a hot spell, etc.  AND, we did the Sunday morning NYT X-word....difficult but not over whelming! 

 

Boy, is there ever a lot of dragonflies around.  Its good because they eat mosquitoes, but I have never seen so many.  Today on the beach the dragonflies were hovering up above like some kind of helicopter air force......and NO mozzies!  

 

 It seems that there is this nice trailer for sale, privately.  A 28 foot 'sandpiper' (Forest River mfg.??) with a big pullout (breakfast nook and sofa), queen size bed, nice full bathroom, two TV's.  It's two years old and has been kept well.   We are giving it serious thought, the only drawback is how to pay for it. HAha. Well, its nice to dream.

 

We probably will be out here for a couple of more days, we have a couple of things to do in town, not the least of which is take Mom to, let's see what is it now?....the optometrist for new glasses.  I am not sure but I think that she has put the wig idea on the back burner for now.  

 

Speaking of burners.....I got some steaks for supper, so I had better go fire up the 'grill-to-go'.
