Hey, Gary finally blogged. Just kidding, he blogs frequently. In Tillimook, huh. I assume that is on the coast since you have a great ocean view, duh. Is that where the Spruce Goose is? I actually was in LA for business once and I went to Long Beach to see the darn Spruce Goose and there it was gone! Saw the Queen Mary I though. I sure would like to see the spruce goose......we have a plane at the Air Museum that is made from wood. Its called the 'Wooden Beaver', a finer plane cannot be had! It was used to haul timber from Chetimagoosh, Quebec to Ottawa and the Eddy match Company to make matches. Quite a history....really. Speaking of Quebec.....I just read where Bombardier (a Quebec firm) was complaining that the government was showing favouritism in the new Canadian Air Force basic training contract up for renewal at Portage La Prairie. A BC firm (Kelowna Flightcraft) is also bidding on it and has a better offer. A big boohoo if Quebec losses the contract! In the words of Manitoba Aerospace workers everywhere....REMEMBER THE CF18 CONTRACT!!!!!!!! Montreal snatched it away from Bristol even though Bristol had a far better contract bid!...Damn, horse thief Mulrooney!
Well, better go have a nap now that I got my Blood pressure up. yeeeesh. I am tired, I caught the sinus, achy, cold thingy that Catherine had and I am tired. Besides,I was at the Museum this AM and had a tour of 15 or so kids and that is enough to tire you out. *Yawn*
