Moms; Garizona; Kyoto; Mushu; shivering redux

It is Sunday. Mom has been at our place since Friday. She came to babysit the doggie on Friday whilst we went out for a workout, and then to dinner with a couple of friends. We went to the Inferno Bistro in St. Boniface and the food was scrumptious as usual. The chardonnay was good too!......a Chilean.

Gary is still in Arizona...30 miles from somewhere...looks like a four story shaded ant hill. Last he blogged, they were looking for friends in order to score another meal! It seems that they will be in Oregon near the end of next week to meet up with the Kirkwoods. I would love to see Oregon. They say it is beautiful. I would love to do the whole COW thing California-Oregon-Washington in one trip.

The weather here has been mild, above zero for a few days. Maybe it will be an early spring! Winter has not been that bad on the whole, more snow than usual but we never had a bone-chilling cold streak. Its been nice on the west coast but colder than normal in the east.

The JUNOS (Canada's Grammys) are in Winnipeg in April. the whole city is looking forward to it. Neil Young is coming back to his hometown for it and he will perform. Of course Chantal Kreviazuk, Randy Bachman, Burton Cummings, the Doc Walker Band, and others from Manitoba will be performing. And, gee it would be nice if Shania Twain could come...who knows. I have volunteered to volunteer at the Junos but I have not heard anything yet. I could chauffeur people around or work security. It would be fun.

I have just sat Mom down at Catherine's computer and pulled up Gary and Jacks blogs for her to read. She seems to be enjoying it...she is muttering along.

We had pizza and we watch the movie 'Mulan', last night. For an animated film, it was quite good. Eddie Murphy does the vioce of the side-kick dragon called Mushu, and as in Shrek, he is funny. I would recommend this movie. I know Margot and Joel would enjoy it.

Well we have our plane tickets and cruise tickets, now all we have to do is wait............wait.........wait

Better go, breakfast is being served. eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes, juice.....mmmmmmm Keep on blogging y'all
