Awards at WCAM...
Today, the Aviation Museum had a party for the volunteers. They handed out certificates of service for 2003. I got a certificate for about 200 hours volunteer service. It is nice to get some recognition. There was plenty of food and cake and good friends.
Long ago in a land far away..
Catherine has gone to a dinner meeting of her old friends that she once worked with at King George V school...so long ago, early in her teaching career. They get together every couple of months and catch up on the news.
Meet-up, eh?...
I am going out later to a meeting of the 'Atheists-Meet-up' group. they meet once a month on the third Tuesday. Meet-up is an internet service that pulls like minded people together to discuss certain things that they have in common...like atheism. Looking forward to it. Some of our Humanist group will be there.
Hot out eh?....
The weather today is perfect. 26 degrees and sunny...at least that is what it says on my thermometer. Now if it would just stay that way......last week we had 25 cms of snow...they could not really measure it because the government cut back on the weather service and cut the guy that did it! Haven't they got a stick for Pete's sake?
Anyway, better say bye for now...so keep blogging
