When my father died and my two brothers and I sat down to talk about him, we discovered that we were talking about three different men - and I had never met the other two.

Here I am, blogging from Victoria. It is a cool and overcast day but beautiful for a walk. With all the blossoms, dogwood etc. it smells wonderful. There are lots of people out walking. I will wave and say hello but for the most part people here are quiet and reserved...but friendly and they will say hello. The whole place is as laid-back as I remember, there is nobody in a perticular rush. Lovely.
I don't know what the plan is today but I would like to go down to the harbour front and maybe take in the art gallery. Lyn and Alan's wedding is tomorrow. We went over last night to meet him and to see Lyn and the kids. Al is a nice, reserved, quiet, Victorian guy (Victorian in the nicest sense). He loves to garden and putter around the house (reminds me of my Dad) and he seems quite proud of the work he has done so far. With his efforts it will certainly be a more beautiful property someday . I haven't seen Noni or David yet but I look forward to seeing them come Saturday and the wedding.
I spent the night in Gary's new LAND YACHT. It is really nice. It has two pullouts, one for the dining nook and sofa and one for the bed and closets. With the pullouts out there is plenty of room. Unfortunately because of where it is parked, the pullouts can't be pulled out so while it is liveable it is still a bit cramped. But I am not complaining, it was a comfortable night, a bit cool (it got down to 40 deg f), but there is a little heater and with that going and a big down comforter, it was OK.
Well, better go for now, Keep on blogging!!!!!
