When my father died and my two brothers and I sat down to talk about him, we discovered that we were talking about three different men - and I had never met the other two.

Today is sunny and around 8-10 deg.c. This day last year it was 26 degrees c.! Well there you go.
Shopping ..............
Catherine was teaching this afternoon so I went out and did some shopping. I bought a dining tent at the SIR (big hunting) store. This will be a 'dining room pull-out' for our FLY. This, along with the 'dual pull-out full size beds' at either end of the FLY will make for more comfortable camping this summer up at the lake. Its all a matter of how you say it isn't it. LOL
I also made it over to Blue-Cross and submitted mother's application for 'basic' coverage. She was surprised to get a bill for the ambulance ride she had to take wwhen she had her nose bleed a couple of weeks ago. It cost her $260.00. Life is a learning curve.
I finally made it to the big new "Best Buy" electronic store. They moved into Winnipeg last year and other stores were worried that they would take over the market. But, at those prices, I think it will take quite a while. The pricing there ain't no great shakes,however I did buy an HP colour cartridge there (#78) for $49.00 and the pricing elsewhere is around $50 to $55. Big deal. Worth a look though if you have something special in mind.
Sounds like Gary is back from trying out his new RV up to the Nanoose camp for last weekend. Sounds like they had a good time....at least they aren't talking yet of trading it in! They had their Easter Dinner up there and all...sounds like fun.
Apparently the union workers out at the Bristol Rockwood plant are out on strike. There was a story in the Free Press about it this morning..........but they referrred to it as the Rockport Propellor plant instead of the Rockwood Propellant Plant. HEE HEE
Better go....gotta go walk the dawg. Lookin forward to the trip to Victoria....in two days. Keep blogging !
