When my father died and my two brothers and I sat down to talk about him, we discovered that we were talking about three different men - and I had never met the other two.

Here it is Easter Sunday. Mom is here for turkey dinner. Catherine got a small (10lb) turkey this year. It was plenty big enough. We put the turkey in the oven and then went over to get Mom. By the time we picked up Mom and went for a drive the turkey lurkey was done. We were wurprised to fingd some nice hot cross buns in betweeen the doors when we got home . They were from Dorothy...what a sweet person. The turkey was almost falling apart so Catherine rushed to get everything else ready for dinner and the result was a superb trukey dinner. The dinner wine was a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from Lapis, a BC winery...quite good (and reasonable too).....saucy and impertinent yet easy on the palet....in fact.....ready....it slides down your gullet like the devil wearing velvet pants!
LOL
