When my father died and my two brothers and I sat down to talk about him, we discovered that we were talking about three different men - and I had never met the other two.

I just got back from the museum......damn where are my glasses? Ah that's better. Catherine has gone to an AGM for the Louis Riel Teachers Assoc. so I am alone with the doggie. What will I have for supper?? Harvest crunch..yeah.
The weather yesterday was great , about 20 degs and sunny and today started out that way too but this afternoon it turned ugly....cold and windy. Must be a cold front coming through. Even the dog won't stay outside.
Joel has updated his blog. His Dad has turned 60 and his parents have been together for 36 years! Sounds like he has reconciled with his father....that's good. Sounds like they celebrated in fine fashion. Its nice when you can go out together and celebrate things like that...... birthdays, anniversaries.

Guess what....there is a new drug store opening in Winnipeg soon....A LONDON DRUGS. Isn't that a coincidence? There are several London Drugs in Victoria and I wondered why there were none here...well here they are!
Been real busy here since I got back. Museum, re-fit, research, Nana's appointment. Oh yeah Nana....I took her to the 'pacemaker' clinic and everything is fine with her pacemaker. I told her that we should take her walker.. she said that she don't need no stinkin walker she'll take her cane....as soon as we got there she was looking for a wheelchair. yeahtututututututut....sheesh, that woman is stubborn but of course you knew that....We went out to the Norwood Hotel for breakfast after.
Better go make myself and my dog something to eat. keep blogging
