Hello there. Here it is Monday....heart attack day for some. There was an article in the paper today that stated that a large number of heart attacks happen between 6:00 AM and 12:00 AM on Monday mornings, especially among the "type A" personalities and peopl who hate their jobs. I was not a "type A" personality so draw your conclusions....my job was very stressful and I pushed myself hard to be good at it, but nowadays it is common for people to push and be pushed because companys are trying to improve their bottom line by doing more with less employees. And there is always the threat of losing ones job.....aaahhh I am glad that I am out of it, I get all worked up just thinking about it!

I just called the manager of the "Vic Wyatt" house and updated our status on the waiting list. We are now "officially" on the short list for a "life-lease' two bedroom & a den (1500 sq ft...1700 sq ft if you include balcony) apartment in the complex on St. Annes Road. We went to look at some other rental apartments around town yesterday and found that nothing could compare with the 'Vic Wyatt' house. Your "hot" rent includes everything but the telephone. They told me that the apartments are not moving now and it may be a year or two but that suits us well as we will have to ready this place for sale....get rid of some junk and paint the place. What do they say in the army ...if it moves, move it if it don't paint it.

The weather has been strange lately...up and down.....Saturday it was 20 and windy, yesterday it was 15 and windy and today its only about 5 but not windy. I understand that it is real nice on the BC coast....20+ and sunny. When I was in Victoria recently I found the weather to be real nice but changeable...one minute it was gusty and the next calm...sunny then cloudy. But on the whole it was nice weather...great for walking around siteseeing. Seems that it is cool out east and downright cool in the maritimes. well you take what you get and then some.

I understand that Andy and Kathie bought that bootiful PT Cruiser and sold the Camaro to Noni. Looks like a good deal for both of them! Cougar in a Camaro.........OK....must warn people, must warn people.

Did you know that you can't go for a walk these days unless you are sponsered by someone? The causes are good but why does it feel that if you are not walking "for a cause" then you should not be walking at all? Seemingly gone are the days when you can go walking purely for pleasure. Seems like there is guilt associated with everthing. One cannot turn on the TV without pleas for help and pictures of starving people. One cannot take a drive without someone standing at the lights on the boulevard with a sign pleading with somehing like, "I'd rather beg than ask for welfare">>>Hey ask for welfare, thats what it is for! The squeegie kids that want a looney for cleaning your windshield when it was not dirty...and without asking if you wanted it cleaned in the first place!....(turn on your wipers). The bums in the street begging for a looney so they can go and buy some more wine. MS, autism, cancer, ADD, adult ADD, SPCA, HS, dandruff, It grinds you down...you can't help everyone all the time. Dear Ndugu.....stop making me feel guilty....got a smoke?!
Better go for now...today is a re-fit day....must work out to keep my slim trim figure....do you realize that I used to weigh 8 lbs!?! TTFN ........keep blogging.
