Here it is Saturday and the weather is still holding at around the freezing mark. The winds are calm and the weather would be great for flying...wish that I would have kept my licence up! Do you know that to get one's pilot's licence today would cost around $10,000.00 and that is Canadian! Back in '78....er, 1978 bozo, it cost me $1,500.00. I guess that having diabetes would preclude me ever getting past the medical.
Today we are going to a play. "Tuesdays With Morrie"...its about a sportscaster that meets with his mentor every Tuesday for a talk, except that now the mentor is dying of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) . I hope that Catherine will be alright with that, you see her brother Gordie died of ALS about 4 years ago...hell I hope I'm OK, Gordie was a nice guy.
I put a counter on my blog on Feb 15th and so far have received over 40 hits...of course about 10 are mine. It's nice to see that someone is reading my blog. There is a site that advertises your blog site (BLOGWISE) and I have subscribed to it. Maybe that is the reason for the hits. Oh well, fun anyways. I know Gary reads my blog and I read Gary's blog, since he is another one to blog frequently. It is too bad because blogging is so great. It relates to all, and yourself!, what you and your family, friends are up too. It's like keeping a journal.......Well enough proselytizing.....'nuf said Fred...Keep blogging.
