"Wilbur and I could hardly wait for morning to come to get at something that interested us. That's happiness."

Here I am sitting at the computer at around 1:48 AM Friday. Feeling melancholy. A fellow from the Humanist Association passed away on the weekend and then Ken Chambers died this week. Ken was born in July, 1947. I was born in June, 1947 and it kinda makes you think about, well you know... death. Woody Allen says that he is not afraid of dying, he just doesn't want to be there when it happens. Anyways, makes you think. Life is short. Catherine has a teacher friend who was recently diagnosed with inoperable stomach cancer and it is just a matter of time. It happened so sudden. What do you say to someone like that?...if the truth be known, deep down you are probably saying that I am glad that it is not me.
75 cms of snow in the Maritimes! A lot of it fell in Halifax, those Haligonians will be digging out for days! How can people live there, he said feigning fainting? Oh My Dears! Like Myron Cohen says, everybody got to be somewhere, if we all lived in the same place it would be real crowded.
Joke...
A boy was not doing well in mathematics. His father tried everything, tutors, meeting with the teacher, etc, but the boy's grade in math just would not improve. What to do? He decided to enrol him in a 'private' school to see if that would help. The boy's math grade improved immediately. Was it the teaching? the father asked of the boy...no. Was it the new learning environment? ...no. Well, what was it asked the father. What could have encouraged you to improve your math so quickly? Well said the boy, when I walked into the math teaher's room the first day, I saw that on the wall at the front of the class was a man nailed to a plus sign!
Well, better go and get some sleep. I got to protext the Wright Bros Exybishun down te the musum in the marnin' and that means an 8 oclock wake up call. some days that is the only exercise I get!..... 26 or so situps just hittin the snooze button!
nitey nite....remember keep on bloggin! appreciate Gary's efforts!...by his blog I can see that they are having a good time out there in Arizony. Stay safe.
