Once you can accept the universe as matter expanding into nothing that is something, wearing stripes with plaid comes easy.

It's 10 degs C and sunny!!!
Hope the weather holds for the Festival! Its not like it takes place totally outside, but scurrying from heated tent to heated tent when it is -25 deg c out is not much fun. The dogs in the dog races don't seem to mind what the weather is though. This year they are having a 'snow dip' a big pool filled with snow and people swimming in there with only bathing suits on....what people will do for money! There will be snow sculptures and lots of music as usual. In the days of the voyageurs there was always music...they would pas the time by getting together at someone's house and fiddles would appear and they would sing and dance til dawn. HEY-HOE!!!!! Drinking and music what fun...I think that I'm a voyageur!....maybe its in my genes since Granpas' Granpa was a voyageur! No wonder they played hard, they worked hard. Amable Hogue (the voyageur) once made trip, paddling a canoe for Governor Simpson all the way from york Factory on the Hudson's Bay to the mouth of the Fraser River (would that be Vancouver? DUH) in just three (3) months!!!!! an amazing feat in those days! They would only sleep 4 hours a night and paddle for about 16 hours, the rest of the time they spent cooking and repairing the canoes and sitting around the campfire singing.
Anyhow, better go, Catherine will be home soon...she was subbing today. It's our anniversary on the 17th... 37 years....wow. dat's a long time!
Keep on blogging!!!!!
