Super Bowl XXXVIII....
Well, the game started off slow but ended with a bang. It turned out to be a great game. The Patriots won 32-29. But the Pathers pulled off some magic during the game, just to keep in it. Did I see the half time show? Yeah, what was the big deal about Janet Jackson baring her breast? Europeans must think that we in North America are a prudish lot. The only thing that I can see is that kids could be watching, but then, nobody says boo when they show graphic violence on the evening news! Was it any worse than Nelly grabbing his crotch every few seconds during his song? ....what's up with that? I didn't find that thecommercials were that great either, especially the one with the gassy horse?!?!
General Musings.... (wasn't he a civil war general?)...
Its always a trial to get Suzie's nails cut. She doesn't like ANYONE touching her paws. She must have had frost-bite or something in her previous life. She doesn't wear them down in the winter like she does in the summer. We are taking her tomorrow to get them done...wish us luck...I've given up trying to do them at home!
I had another Adobe Photo Shop class yesterday. Does anyone have a copy of Adobe Photoshop 7 or the new one 8???? Gary, do you know anyone? The follow up classes are Photoshop 'goodies'...should be good.
This is a busy week for me. I am at the Aviation Museum tomorrow and Friday, all day. Friday is the opening of the Wright Bros. exhibit. Thursday I have a meeting of the executive of the Humanist Assoc. and we are having it at the Viscount-Gort for the first time. We will have our general meeting there on the 14th. Let's see Feb. 14th...there is something else about that date?! I wonder what it is? Pope's birthday???no...
Gary and Carol are still at Cocopah? in Arizona, living the large life in the land Cruiser. Carol has vertigo and this results in dizzy spells. Hope she gets over those soon. I get dizzy sometimes when I stand up fast...my body can no longer take sudden energetic movements and besides it is a side effect of my meds.
I gave the dog a bath on Sunday and I don't know who got more wet, me or her. She sure hates to get wet. When it is raining or even snowing outside, she refuses to go out.
Well, better go and deliver Mom her groceries.
