The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.

Hello from sunny Winnipeg! It's a blistering 5 deg c outside...well, blistering for us! It has been real nice the last two or so weeks. The snow is melting faster than you can say "wardrobe malfunction". As a matter of fact, I heard the water running down the downspout outside all night, so it must have been warm. It went up to about 10 deg c yesterday. Real messy driving.
Knitting a dream...Dreamweaver...
My first web design class was on Thursday. 'Dreamweaver' and 'fireworks' are the programs that are used in this class. Wow, its amazing what can be done....dreamworks is a dream. Anyhow, I went to the bookstore at the U of M and bought the Macromedia Studio MX 2004 'education version'.....it includes dreamweaver, fireworks, flash, freehand, and coldfusion, all mx 2004 editions. It will give me the functionality for every aspect of web design and developement using this softwares full spectrum of internet solutions. heehee. It was a pretty good deal. You don't have to know much code, since the pafe you design is converted to hyper text all automatically. Also, you can quickly check exactly how your work is going to look on the web by just pressing a button...neat huh? If you want to see a neat web page go to www.cbcradio3.com ...now that is neat!
25th wedding anniversary...
Not ours but Lois and Brett's.... We were at their wedding and it seems like , well 25 years ago. Anyways they are planning an anniversary party for the beginning of July in beautiful residential, laid-back, Hippielific New Westminster. I think that we might just go to that! It sounds like a lot of fun and I miss Lois's wonderful laugh. Lois and Brett are real nice people and it sure would be good to see them again. Catherine and I have not seen them since they were here for the Pan-am games in 1999....so its been ...no I'm wrong...we saw them in 2001, we went there the same time as Lois came her to see her folks but we caught up with them eventually and had a visit. Anyways, we'll see what we can plan..of course our daughter and her husband are out there and my brother and his family are close by on the island. It would be nice.
Well, better go...got some dreamweaving to do. So nice to hear from eveyone throught their blogs, I just wish Gary would blog more...oh wait a minute Gary is the only one to blog....so that means......balls...get blogging! not a minute to loose! I think we might Barbecue todight! I got a cute e-mail from Lyn yesterday, it had a picture of a rain-soaked patio and one lone overturned lawnchair and words to the effect that a HUGE storm had just passed and it forced the schools to close and overturned trees, etc.......Oh the HUMANITY! What a hoot, what a wicked sense of humour..must get it from Gary, er no maybe not....probably Uncle Louis. Later
