Hopi Bluecorn Pancake Mix & Prickly Pear Syrup ...thats what youse kin git in Arizony! Can I get a Yahoo? The weather looks good down in Quartzite for Gary & Carol. At least it was 19deg C, when I last checked. Hey that is strangely coincidental...it's 19 deg C here too! OOPS, I guess ours is minus 19. that's a cool breeze off Lake Mead! I have been to Kingman, thats about 100 miles north of Quartzite...it reminded me of one of those old frontier towns in the western movies. Dusty, hot, dry and tumbleweeds rolling by. Sergio Leone type of a place...The good, the not-so-good and the not-so-handsome Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach, who was the other guy? Lee Van Cleef????
Well, did anyone see the new CTV comedy, "Corner Gas" with Brent Butt? Its a hoot! After so many crappy comedies like "Blackfly", "The King of Kensington", etc., CTV has finally done it right. The first scene opens with a guy (from away!) pulling up to the pumps at Dog River, Saskatchewan and he says,"Sure is flat around here." Brent Butt thanks him, sarcastically, for that piece of information because before this he hadn't realized that it was flat there. He turns to his assistant and says "Did you know it was flat here?" "Let's see, there was mountains just over....hey where'd they go?".....goes on from there. Good show that's worth a look.
We got more damn snow today. Hell, it can wait until spring. No more shovelling for me...at least not today! We have to go out though.... Today is the first day For Catherine's next bout of Hip-Hop classes.
Tomorrow, we are going over to Morgan and Terri's for Chinese New Year party and we are looking forward to it.
Ya jus can't hold us back! WooHoo!
