Well, its says Thursday but really it is Wednesday evening at 12:30. It is snowing again. this time we are getting 5 cms...we just had 10 cms! Enough already. The snow-mobilers and the snow-boarders are happy, though. With the new snow-mobile suits those guys can go all day and not get cold.....and some of them have handle bar warmers, too. It is getting really cold out in Eastern Canada...wind chills of 40 and 50 below in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Ottawa, Toronto the Good, and Montreal are all suffering in the deep freeze....Aw, now I feel bad.
The west coast, however is warm...around 10 in Vancouver and 11 in Calgary. But in Calgary it could be 11 degs but Red Deer might be -11 degs....a localized shnook er, chinook. Because it is warmer out west, we can expect the weather here to get warmer by the weekend.....I'll get out my clubs!
Check lyn's blog....she updated it today with an entry from Jan 5th?!....see link at right. Sounds like she and Alan have gone landscaping crazy...like the Victoria Chainsaw massacre.
Catherine and I have been busy trying to get a new venue for the MB Humanists dinner/meetings. And we spent the morning shovelling and snow-blowing! I had to get the car out because I had to get over to the Museum so that they wouldn't realize that I was indispensible...if I didn't show up!......well yoou know what I mean.
Tired now...better get some beauty rest ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZbetter go to bed and sleep!
