He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

Well, it was not a great shock because he has been sick for a while, but Joel's grandfather passed away. Our hearts are with you Joel. xoxoxoxo
Anyways, today we were at Chapters book store and saw a large book of jumble puzzles and we bought it for Mom...just because she has been good to us. She was pleased to get it when we dropped it off with her other groceries this afternoon. (is that sentence right?.. have I left something dangling?)
Anywho, we found a new place for the HAM group to meet... the Viscount Gort Hotel (rte 90 & Portage Ave.). They are willing to furnish a room and only charge us for the catered meal @ $20.58 ea tax & tip included, on a Saturday night yet.. I am quite please, as the room is quite nice. The hotel has spent $7 million on renovations this last year. Unless there ae any objections, I will call them tomorrow and reserve the room for our next meeting.
The Ford Toreass is running well, finally got some heat. It is nice to have heat out in the cold! If not, you could freeze you toreass off!
I got a brochure about a train trip and a cruize to Alaska in May. It sounds great. You fly to Calgary and then bus to Banff. next day you trrain to Kamloops and then the next day you train it to Vancouver. We would have to find a place to eat in Vancouver ...hmmmmm i wonder where we would go??? The next morning, Saturday, we would tour bus around Van and then off to the ship. Up to Alaska and Ketch as Ketchican, some glaciers, a lot of food and ater 7 days its back to Van to fly home. The only catch is, if Catherine gets the contract teaching job from Mar to June. Then...we would have to do it next year!! It would be a nice trip.
well, better go, the dog is calling me....by name?!?! ooooooohhhhhh
