Hello, Monday! Today is sunny and it is supposed to go to 16 or so.
Yesterday, all day was spent shampooing the carpets and still some to do today as still some parts are showing dirt. We have the Rug Doctor rented until tomorrow so I will do some more later. We still did not do the NYT xword puzzle, yet! That is a "have to do" for today! Last night we had to sleep in the guest room as the carpet in our bedroom was still wet and we did not want the dog to be sleeping on it. We spent the evening watching TV in the Rec-room. we haven't done that in a while........I recall some pretty wild parties down there! Right now the rec-room is full of boxes and old furniture. Must get that cleaned out, sometime.
Also yesterday, we went to Home Depot to look at a few things and we met Morgan & Terry there. Morgan is still travelling a lot for his business. He brokers deals for furniture manufacturing in China for customers in North America. He is going to China twice this month and on Wednesday he is flying down to North Carolina for a furniture show. Must be nice to travel like that. He and Terry are both going to China again in November.
Well, Jackson comes in tomorrow and the den downstairs is ready for him. We will meet him at the airport. We are very much looking forward to it.
