Got our car back! Wooohooo. It only took 4 weeks almost to the day! They had to completely re-build it twice to find out what was wrong. After they rebuit it the first time it wasn't right so they thought it was one of the solenoids...that wasn't it , then they thought that it was a hairline crack in the valve housing...that wasn't it, so they started from scratch and completely rebuilt it and found that it was just a faulty valve. BONEHEADS. Well, it ended to be a great deal for me (not fot them) because they took off about $400,00 for the inconvenience and in the meantime they supplied us with a rental car ( a Mazda Protege) and that cost them $600.00. I told them that it was a lesson learned for them. It still cost us half of what it would have cost at the dealership. Anyhow.......
This AM we went to the lawyers and picked up our new wills and 'Powers of Attourney' for each other. If we both should die then our whole estate goes to Suzie,,,,Bwahahaha ... not really, it all goes to our darling daughter Margot and our Grandchildren, GRANDCHILDREN?!?!.
We also went to Creative Retirement and I enrolled into the computer club and I also enrolled into a course about Web page design....starts Oct. 31. Should be fun. Catherine was saying that she could probably teach a course in writing there. I could teach a course in "How to haggle with a Transmission shop". heehee. Seriously, I am looking forward to it.
Right now I am on the computer and Suzie is....let's see...yup, she's sleeping at my feet.....good doggie. Catherine is out at the library doing research for a book she is writing.
Yesterday, I went to work at the museum and Catherine went shopping...a pretty normal Wednesday.
The weather is getting milder and the leaves are falling off the trees...I sure hope Joel gets here fast so that he can rake them!
Tomorrow is another day........
